Is the LEADS Learning Series for you?
This program is open to both current leaders who want to enhance their skills and emerging leaders who want to advance their career within our sector.
We’re looking for leaders with a diverse range of perspective, knowledge and experience who are ready to enhance their skills, move their organization forward, and join a network of leaders shaping the future of community and primary health care.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must be currently working as paid staff in a leadership position in one of the following community and primary health care settings:
We recommend applicants have a minimum of three-years' experience in a leadership position.
Selection Process
To encourage networking, discussion and foster linkages across the various community and primary health care sectors, participants will be selected with a view to creating cohorts with a robust mix of experience, knowledge and perspectives. The project partners also wish to provide broad access across their association memberships.
Priority consideration will be given to members in good standing of the project partners. Applications from non-member community and primary health care organizations will be considered as space permits.
Tuition Fees
Tuition for the LEADS Learning Series is fully subsidized; there is no fee for participants.
Travel Subsidies
Limited travel subsidies are available. Subsidy requests must be included on the application form - late requests will not be accepted. Click here for the travel subsidy guidelines
Cancellation Policy
We anticipate very high interest in this program, and that we will be creating a waiting list for each cohort. Our goal is to ensure each program is filled to maximum capacity. In the event you need to withdraw from the program, please notify us in writing at nicola.kirwan@ocsa.on.ca as soon as possible so we may offer your space to a participant on the waiting list. There is no cancellation penalty if we receive written notification that you are withdrawing from the program up to five (5) business days prior to the date of the cohort primer webinar. For cancellations received after that time, and for no-shows, a $250 invoice will be issued. Consideration will be given to emergency situations. If there is no waiting list for a cohort, applications for substitutions will be considered.
